Motel 6-Childress, TX

The property appears to have recent renovations and was nicely updated and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, since we travel with 2 dogs. They even had a convenient little doggy area, complete with "poopy" bags. An Asian restaurant adjacent to the motel was really very good and a quick walk. We plan to stay again on our way home.

Clean, Direct TV, good coffee, nice staff, micro/fridge, PETS FREE is one of the major draws although I did not have my dog on this trip.

Room was large and clean. Arrangement of features was a little different than normally experienced. Obviously a remodeled motel, felt spacious with basic TV & fridge for amenities. King side bed with overhead reading light but controls and USB charger only on one side of bed making it inconvenient for other spouse. Little space for hanging clothes - nook with shelf on wall with hooks and 4 hangers. Only needed for one night so worked find. Bed was firm enough for good sleep.

The rooms were spacious, simple and clean as well as well maintained.

Not your usual motel 6 for sure. My family and I were traveling back from Galveston to Colorado. Upon reading other reviews on Booking.com about this facility we decided to try it and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were recently updated and you can tell that the owners take pride in the establishment. Well worth the money you will not be disappointed for a good nights rest while traveling.
